two things that rock in Tampa

Hey, forget about hockey! forget about the Bucs! And, we all liked the Outback Bowl better when it was the Hall of Fame Bowl, because everybody figured it was all about me! After all, Hall of fame is my middle name!
(the G in Johnny G Lyon stands for "Goin' To The Hall Of Fame!")
anyway, there's two things that rock in Tampa right now. First, of course, is the good ol' JGLB! Hell yeah, we rock righteous. We got Ray Blade, Ben Jammin, and Tommy Duncan. Well, in spite of that, we rock anyway. And ya know why? cause we got ME! Johnny G Lyon WOOOOO!
Well enough about me for now, although we'll get back to your favorite subject (me) soon. But right now, let's talk about the SECOND thing that rocks in Tampa: USF MEN'S BASKETBALL! Ok, the Bulls Hoops Babes are really rockin' too, but that's another post.
All kidding aside, USF Men's basketball is a very entertaining, hard working team coached by the no-nonsense Robert McCullum. McCullum insists that his players do their best to be good students. If they don't, they don't play. Senior Terrence Leather is second in Conference USA in scoring and 5th in rebounding. He is from Robinson High School in Tampa, an outstanding institution that has run into some real bad luck lately. He was coached at Robinson by Scott Wagers, a JGLB fan who now coaches at East Tennessee State (The Buccaneers!)
The team shoots well, handles the ball well, defends well, and hopefully will rebound well too. Please support the USF Men's Basketball Team. Thank you.

My OPINION (the only one that counts)

(censored by Tommy Duncan)
If ya wanna visit the best site on the net, check out www.jglb.net !

And so it begins...

Welcome to the JGLB blog! I don't know how often this site will be updated, what it will include, how many people will read it, or if it even means anything. But here it is anyway.

Hopefully this will be updated by all members of the JGLB, otherwise known as the Johnny G. Lyon Band. Current band members include Ray Blade on drums, Ben Jammin' on bass, and Johnny G. Lyon on lead guitar. Tommy Duncan just stands there and looks good.

As this site ages, it should grow to include biographies, photos, band schedules and other stuff that you just can't live without. Eventually you will be able to make comments, ask questions, and enjoy other cool 2005-type interactive communications.

Please bear with us, as our collective experience with computers usually has to do with surfing highly entertaining sites of questionable value.
